Don't belive half of what you hear at the dalership. They are salesmen remember, they either don't know the truth, or don't wanna chance losing a "right now" sale and tend to not leak out the truth. As far as the interiors, IMO they keep getting better. The 575M was a big improvemnt on the 550, and the 612 is gorgeous, I've sat in them, they are top notch.
Can't go by those test mules though.... And the 612 and the "600" are going to be TOTALLY different cars....the "600" will be MUCH more of a drivers car. The 612 is more of a tourer, not to mention it has a back seat. The "600" will be a 2-seater.
Those aren't new, same old test mule shots that have been posted up before. Those cars are FULL of camo.... The car when it finally bows will be awesome, I know it.
Do some of you read before you post? This car is an old test mule. It has 612 Scag body panels to HIDE the car....holy cow....it's a 2+2 for God's sake, the car will be a 2-seater....
John Todt has said himself the "600 Imola" will be VERY different then the 612 Scaglietti. Anyone who thinks F will just make a 2-door 612 Scag is on heavy drugs. Furthermore, the car in the spy shots has 4 seats. That should be a dead give away that it is a test mule of some sort....we all know the "600 Imola" will be a 2-seater now don't we....
To bad most of these guys don't seem to have the common sense to relize that....it's a TEST MULE, why agruee about styling that has nothing in theory to do with the final product????
Ferrari hides there cars until the last minute....why would they want to let the cat out of the bag before hand? You can SEE all the panels over panels on the cars in the pics.
Just as the 550/575 was based off the 456. I read some of these replys and it makes me laugh. I can't belive how many people are critiquing a test mule/prototype, that has most likey hardy anything to do with the final product.
Some of you amaze me. It's a damn PROTOTYPE full of CAMO. Why the hell people critique a camo'd prototype is beyond me.... Wait until the ACTUAL car is released in a few months. I'm betting F will hit this one right on the head!
To bad those "cheap pieces of Detroit plastic" can run circles around most cars that cost 3 times as much. I love the new Vettes, you can't get a better performing car for the money. Sorry, not al of us can afford a F car. The Vette does just fine for me.....
I, and most think the C6 looks great, yeah the inside ain't perfect, but for the money it's fine. The R&D went into performance. For 35 grand less I can easily take a new 911 S (I already have, both in 1/4 mile and SCCA auto course) beside tehe headlamps on the C6, what is "copied" from F? Some of you think any front-engined sports car is a direct copy of F, give me a break. I hope to own a F car someday, but for now I love what I have. What do you drive anyway?????
And why is that? Seems your P car loyality is overshadowed by a better performing car that costs less, all I can say is drive a C6 before you comment. 911s biggest problem, big lack of tq. The new ZO6 will be an even better machine....I have had 2 911's, all great cars, but I don't think "P is the best no matter what" like to many others do. My farther had a few 911's in the 70's/80's, he got me into P cars, but even he would admit if a car was better performing, unlike some others that can't admit it........
Looks like a F430 rear to me, considering it is a Pchop using a F430 as the base. You guys REALLY need to stop critiquing test mules, prototypes and drawings for gods sake....it's quite stupid.
Your not missing anything, it's a HORRIBLE Photoshop of a press shot of a 575M....why it was even published is beyond me....
I'm sure he "saw" the same mules everyone has seen.............F has said it WON'T look to much like the 612 at all.
Here we go agian with people critiqing TEST MULES with obvious fake body panels covering up the real ones.... Look at the nose, you can clearly see under the fake 612 panels learks red panels from the actual car. I for one, know this car will look great, Ferrari got some heat from the 612. Won't happen with this more aggressive design.
Have you sat in a 612? It's the nicest, most up-to-date F interior ever made IMO. The digital screen also tells you important information and allows for language changes with ease as well.
