Beautiful, and judging by the background in that first picture there must be some great roads in the area. Congrats.

    Gooooorrrgeousssss!!!!!!

And very good shots as well. You must keep us updated on your driving experiences, or just me. ;)

I'm very, very interested in the CGT and in the not so distant future I'll give one a hard look. I greatly appreciate any and all insights and experiences.

    Congratulations and enjoy the driving,

    Cavallini

Thanks for the kind words! I have owned dozens of sport cars, but there is something special about this one. I was very nervous the first time I drove it, all the reviewers said that they were very hard drive and everyone (including pro drivers) stalled it. I learned that at low RPM's the computer helps control the clutch, you can even let out the clutch on an incline with no gas and it will not stall. So when you get yours you can impress the salesman and be the first not to stall it.

That's brilliant. I've never heard or read anyone mention that before, about not stalling on an incline. I will definitely remember that.

What's the driving like compared to some of the others you've owned? It will probably be my first hyper-car, although that's becoming harder and harder to define these days.

But the V10, the carbonfiber body, the race-car set-up, and the beauty of the car inside and out are what attract me. It's very, very unique, and except for the F50, very unprecedented. It mat be the only non-Ferrari/Italian car in my stable.

And your pics have absolutely sold me on silver for the CGT, instead of black. ;)

    Congrats again,

    Cavallini

So its easy drive, but is it fast? ; )
That car looks like its doing 100 just sitting there. Have fun and drive it in good health! Please keep us posted with additional pictures. Can you manually adjust the wing or is that handled by the computer?
    Thanks for sharing.

    regards

AFAIK.... you have a button to raise the wing at low speeds if you wish.
The computer automatically raises it at about 70MPH, i think.
And it is either up or down.... there is no "adjustment" to speak of

BTW - Congrats on the car. A nice place you live at too.

One question though... are you not concerned about the residuals when all 1500 (or, now, more likely only 1250) are built???

I was at Crystal Cove last weekend and I am hoping to go this Saturday! The wing raises at 70mph or you can manually raise and lower the amount you want. I bought it used with 1300 miles on it and I feel I got a good deal.

Brian, thats great, hope you enjoy it for many years. This is a car I would love to own, as I see it is with many others as well. I know the maintanance costs will drive prices down, especially as they come out of warranty, but just gauging how many people on board would love to own one, I bet they will find a bottom and start to appreciate in a few years. I just hope that bottom is low enough for some of us more plebian buyers to jump on board. The first drive with any supercar must be a very special experience.

BTW, nice digs from the feel of the landscaping and driveway!!

I don´t care much for Porsches, but this one I like. As a non-Ferrari I would prefer it wayyyy high over a Murcielago or SLR.
