    Guy in our neck of the woods had a 575 with the plate "FERWOWIE".

    Every time I saw it, I wanted to stop him and ask him WTF he was thinking that day.

    The tag issued to me for my widebody 81 RX7 was KRP 911. Karen Roeder's Porsche 911. If you know the car you know it looks a lot like an IMSA type Porsche 928 or 944 would look. Never have a problem remembering my tag no.
    Went for generic also w/ my 328 but am still thinking.

    I picked up a small collection of personalized plates while deatiling for a Subaru dealer. Personalized plates had to be removed from all trade-ins before they hit the lot, so I figured I could do something with them. A Hyundai that was traded in had the plate 2R4URB. I couldn't figure out what it was supposed to mean, and had eventually decided that it must be part of an inside joke or something. I told a friend about it, and he had actually previously asked the owner what it meant. Apparently, it was supposed to mean "too rich for your blood". I thought that was the dumbest thing in the world because not only were "rich" and "blood" only represented by one letter each, but the plate was on a Hyundai! I don't know how she expected anyone to decypher it...

    I used to have a Pcar with plates UBPASED

    and my current F car.. FERARI

    I have seen FERRARI in my state on a nice red 275 GTB.. I think its well deserved..

    Damn, Ive already tried for that one here in Ontario...its taken :( , along with "wo horse"...probably by some Mustang owner.Figures, they have us by the short hairs in shear numbers...

    However, I was able to get "4RE 550"...at least my third choice made it!
