Track day insurance

OK, im really excited about the Knockhill Ferrari track day this Saturday, but cant gett rack insurance; seems its virtually impossible to arrange. Apparently most people just dont take it it out. Now thats fine if you drive safe but what if the car behing doesn't or do the marsahalls make sure there is sufficient space between cars to prevent shunts/spins etc?

My first time so really dont know what to expect!
