    A few questions:

How late can one register for Saturday's event?

Can I just show up Saturday morning?

What does the Saturday schedule look like?

How much track time can I expect?

Do participants also serve as corner workers?

    How many cars are expected?

How many run groups are there?

I've been to PPIR in conjunction with the SVTOA event, but never to one of these events. Anything else I should know?

We will have a great turn out with very cool cars, so far we will see 2 Ford GT, Lambo, many Porsche all types, cobras etc.. I'm waiting the final Ferrari count. great opportunity to run on that BIG track surrounded by a pro safety team. The school day is getting full, don't wait the last mintues to get in.
If you don't want to run the track, just stop by to check the cars and action.
This should open the appetite for next week Ferrari BBQ...

Helmet will be a must to all. If you don't have one, you can rent one a t cheap rate from Lelslie.
The same goes for the suit, we will enforce the suit for the group 3 & 4.
They are also available thru Lelsie at the track.
Bring your credit card for safety deposit. Unfortunately we had some " disapering" or being damaged.
You can even buy one from her at a cool rate

I think it might be a 1980's Argo JM19C, but I don't know. Here is another picture.

It was an awesome day! Definitely toasty but the 328 kept the water and oil plenty cool. Brakes are a bit softer now that the day is over but no serious fade at any point in the day... My favorite part was when it was me vs. three or four other Cobras! I took 'em out, one at a time :). The 328 is tremendously balanced and towards the end I was able to use the throttle to really tighten up the line here and there.

I also got some instructor time with both Roland and Stim (thanks, guys!). It doesn't take more than a few laps with those guys to really whip you into shape (well, at least to Cobra ass-kicking land :) ). Overall I learned a great deal and thought the event was super smooth and well put on... Special thanks to Leslie and co for runnin' the show!

And here are a few more pics from a different perspective. I wasn't really in "camera" mode but I did take a moment to snap a few shots.

Notice the Ford GT right next to me! That was fun. Of course, that's about the fastest way I can think of to make a Ferrari 328 invisible :). The owner was Nick, with his girlfriend Kim, great people... Nick was really good on the track! The Ford GT got really hot though as I understand.

There was also a red Ford GT (see above pics).

The blue race car had what appeared to be official stickers from the 1988 24 hours of Le Mans, which leads me to believe it ran there, dunno if that helps ID it.

    Edit, accordint to http://www.experiencelemans.com/en-us/dept_149.html

Car #124 in the '88 24 Hours of Le Mans was a "MT Sport Racing, F
Argo JM19C - Ford Cosworth DFL" with a V8 in it. So that could be it.

The Argo was the car I raced a few years back in vintage. I went to Austria to test and my friend Bob bought it to run in the States. The car ran Le Mans in 89 in the colors that you saw at PPIR but did finished with a French team at the 4th place with a Cosworth 3l engine. Here is a pic at my ranch with thenChampion Porsch and the Spice Audi. The yellow is the Belgian racing colors !!!
Now, it's a chevy with a Kinsler injection build here in Fort Collins by ADC.
I ran that car at PPIR with that engine several years ago. Now, it's Frank's car beside his 360.
I was glad to see that all the work they put in the car to rebuild it gave them plenty FAST laps.
