    Hello,

My apologies for the delay, but here is the dyno sheet attached. The dark line is the 1st run with the stock exhaust, the lighter line is the 2nd run with the Gruppe M intake installed. Like I said in my first post, hte lines are jagged, perhaps if someone can apply some smoothing or averaging, there should be an 18 to 22 hp difference or thereabouts, along the rev range.

If it doesn't come out clear, any suggestions would be welcome.

    Cheers,

    Alex

As promised got the 355 back from Norwoods Friday with the new Gruppe M air intake installed pictures attached it looks like a clean installation and as advertised the throttle response is noticeably different and the car seems livlier it is also fitted with a Tubi and Hyperflow cats so maybe the combination is what gets the final result either way I am happy with the feel.

Martin, that looks great. While my set up is on a 360 I agree with your assessment. I am running Larini sports cats, Gruppe M and Capistro 3 and the car is very different from stock with more power throughout the range, much more really low( say sub 3800 rpms) end torque and unbelievable sound. Very close in sound qualities to my 355 with tubi and straigtpipes. Its deep but with that alto howl that brings your hair up when it starts to really rip, nice backtalk when coming off the gas at speed and of course the raspy intake sounds you can hear because of the intake placement on that car.

I have the GruppeM intake on my 95 F355 for two years and love it. Very noticble power increase throught the rev range. When I added the Hyperflow was even better. You can't just look at total HP increase but increase throughout the power band and what RPM the power comes in. I noticed more power increase at lower rpm and alot a t 6000 and above.

    Hi Martin,

on your photos there seems to be a kind of heatshield (white) under
    the GruppeM system.

Is it a heatshield and was it included by the GruppeM ?

May be anyone else can give me an answer .

Heat shield comes with the Gruppe M. I lined the bottom that faces the exhaust with high hear insulation and the intake stays very cool.

Yes the white heat shielsd came with the Gruppe system I would have preferred it to be black and less noticable, but that was the design.

Hugh the material looks like a heat resistent matting I would be a bit concerned painting it I was hoping some bright soul was going to say you can buy a fibreglass panel that covers it maybe even in a pattern that matches the Gruppe unit
