Well, I thought I would post as I was shocked how well the car did...

Took it to get tested yesterday. Asked to speak to the manager as I didn't want a 19 year old driving my car. Was also concerned about adequate cooling for the rolling road test, as the cars radiators are on the side...

They were VERY accomodating. They agreed to test it the old way, with just an idle test...

Just so you all know, I was just waiting for it to fail. You read this site enough, and you get paranoid. No one ever posts about things when they go well, do we :)?

Allowed PPM was up to 200...testarossa had 1.9!!!! Holy cow. Tester was shocked. Made me open the hood to make sure the exhaust was actually connected... :).

So far, owned the car 9 months or so:

    Total major isues: 0
Total cost: Gas, insurance, wax, fluids
Pending costs: some windshield delamination - no significant change since I have owned it...
    Paranoia scale: trending downwards....

May the ferrari god's continue to smile on me...

Congrats. People laugh at me when I get excited and tell them my cars have passed CA emissions - it's like I just passed the Bar exam or something.

Nice to see some positive posts as well. It can get initimidating reading about all the problems.

My 1985 308 QV showed similar low PPM numbers, when I had it tested right after purchase, in April of 2004. I will have to dig up the paperwork and see but I seem to remember having single digit PPM numbers as well.

Hmmm I wonder if that means I can remove the cats...
