Does anybody know of a GOOD ClearBra installer in Houston who can handle a 308 and all her voluptuous curves?

Furthermore, has anybody ever heard of a custom-cut kit for the 308?

I'd like to know of a guy that installs clear bras in Dallas. I'd like to hang out with him for a few days.

Oh, you mean CAR bras? ;)

custom kit for the 308? It will need to be a custom kit since there aren't any kits that are produced from my understanding. They mainly date only back to the 355. The 308's curves shouldn't be bad at all to do so long as the installer knows how to do custom work from scratch. Best way to do this would be getting huge pieces of masking tape or painters tape and creating a mold to cut out on the 3M and working it out from there. Not uncommon, but not typical.

You mean, actually create the panels from tape, and bring those panels to a company who can use those panels to create templates for the 3M film?
Seems kind of difficult, because the tape would be tacky and stick all over itself.... Maybe I could just use paper panels, but how would I handle the curvy lower valance, and pointy nose?
Anybody know of a Houston company capable of this?

Not really. You can do the install onsite remotely with just film and some handy tools (not from a tool chest though). The installer would mask it up, then transfer it to the film itself. Like any kind of film, it will be sticky on one side. That side has a film over it to protect the sticky stuff. It doesn't unroll like masking tape or scotch tape. You line it up, then lubricate the surface with soap and water (tricky if you do not know the right mixture) and unroll the 3M or similar product and work with it from there. It isn't a DIY kind of thing by any means.

But taking it to a company to cut up remotely that would be diffuclt. That's hours and hours of time entering in information on the drafting application which would plot and cut on a 30" plotter.

    Hope that clarifies.

Also, just confirmed on the XPel product, which only offers back to 355's and 456's.

You might check with these guys. They did my buddies car, they are in Houston, and he was quite pleased with the price and the results.

His install was on a 2003 Z06, but I did look at it, and they did do a nice job.
