I do not own an F car currently but will. I have been reading and see all of the "ENG OUT" stuff. What is the yearly maintaince costs? Or, if I am asking I still not ready to afford? I am just curious how much this costs and what it cosists of.

Far to vague a question to answer however I can say that a search will reveal the expected annual ownership costs of all of the models. It has been discussed before.

That would all depend on if, and how much of the work you would do yourself, as well as who would be doing the work for you, and where you buy your parts. It would also depend on how well you want the car serviced. For example, the belts and valve check is only about $250 give or take in parts. But the labor can vary from $1000 to as much as $5000, depending on the shop. I think FOA was quoting like $7200 a while back? At any rate, working on it yourself is best, and will provide good bonding time with the car.

Vague question. My advice is... it's more expensive than average! It also depends on who does the work (DIY vs Independent, vs Dealership) how you acquire parts, and what kind of driving (street or track) Narrow it down to a particular model and you'll get better info. There's a lot of knowledge on the board.

If you like to DIY and drive on weekends then your costs will be lower. As an example the 30K on my 348 (April 04) cost me $1,300 for parts. At least a $10K dealer job since I did lots of other things while the engine was out. Last year's running expenses included fluids ($50), rebuilt starter ($75) replaced T/O bearing ($400) - that's about it. Parts tend to be expensive but not needed often if the car is properly maintained.

    Anywhere from $1500 for a home job on a 308 to $150k+ for a freshening on a 333 SP.

Do you have a particular model in mind?

Just hand a credit card to the mechanic and wait for the bill in the mail.
