    It can be done.

Spicy and I went to lunch with it.

    Then the bank.

    A used book store.

    A C Moore crafts.

    Borders Books.

    BestBuy.

    Sat in traffic.

Blasted it out on the highway. No issues.

    Don't polish them, drive them.

Well, the more you drive it the more chances someone can spit on it. At least leave the top in and keep the windows up.

Spit washes up with soap and water. Big deal.

There are a$$es everywhere, you can't regulate them out.

Life is too short not to drive them.

    So far:
    Ownership, 2 months
Minus 2 weeks for smog and 1 week on vacation, my GT4 has been driven every day in and around S.F.
It drives better today than when I brought it home. How it will drive tomorrow, there's no telling.

(Don't wanna jinx anything you know.)

I won't argue that. Mine has 94,000 miles on it AND it sits outside all the time

Not this trip, but there is a rumor going around that I'll be living only 8 hours away from there after the China assignment. I'll make sure that we get a 4 bedroom house...

Forget getting in Branko's studio unless you cough up some cash. He wouldn't let me in until I gave him $10.

Just kidding, Lets all meet next week for dinner. Thurs is the only day I cannot make it.

Mom and dad are ripping up the den for renovations, otherwise I'd ask them if we could grill out there (safe to park in their neighborhood). I'll be down Sunday afternoon and will see what the plans are.

    Family comes before Ferraris...

Hmmm... I saw Spice get out of the Gallardo this week and immediately start doing the alimony calculations. Maybe family comes before a Ferrari, but does a Lamborghini come before family? ;-)

I just KNEW I shouldn't have posted that yesterday.
Sitting at an offramp today I had the pleasure of watching my temp gauge steadily inch it's way to the right. Farther. Farther. Yep...shut her off NOW.

    Antifreeze everywhere.

Opened the radiator bleeder and got the overflow tank cap off, bled the air that was in there.

Headed home, overheated at the end of my street. Completely bled the system this time. I had coolant flowing out of the radiator valve and out of the thermostat valve in a nice steady stream (with the heater turned on), so I'm assuming everything is flowing thru the system properly. Noticed my fans haven't turned on so I'll play with that after dinner. Wish me luck

I figured if Steve Wynn's Ferrari dealership can do it, so can I. Don't tell Tommy, but he is the only one I have made cough up the cash.

    I saw that, thanks.
My car has done great in traffic/heat...until this afternoon.
I bypassed the fans at the switch, they started right up. I cleaned off the contacts, re-bled the system, I had what seemed like plenty of coolant still in it so I used water to top off, let it sit in front of the house running for about 30 minutes between idle & 2,000 rpm. As soon as the temp needle hit dead center the fans kicked in and it dropped it back a couple of degrees. Looks like no leaks (a little 'burning off' around the radiator from what looks like spilled coolant on the radiator from bleeding). As of now, all looks good. I'll take her for a spin tomorrow.
