With a 355 does the rev limiter, limit the rev to the same point in every gear? Does anyone know what the limiters are?

The rev limiter is a function of the Motronic unit and does not recieve info on selected gear. If I remember correctly it is set about 200 RPM above redline. But remember that Ferrari tachs are notorious for being inaccurate.

I noticed today that in 2nd and 3rd the rev limited kicked in at 7K...hmm I'll investigate it further tomorrow but any guesses on whats wrong? could my tach be off that much? (i think redline is like 8500)
