From looking around on the internet quite it bit it would seem there may be some deals if one was to bring F Cars up from the US to resale in Canada. I have never brought units up from the States. Does anyone have any insight that they would care to share?

Why dont you try these threads....

    or....

Try the search feature as well. I recall a recent thread in which a local dealer (Kds?) went into alot of detail as to what the hassles were...didnt seem to be quite the bargain it would appear to be initially, at least with the newer models.
Older cars, (15 years plus) can be imported with very little hassles though....thats currently 1991 and older, for those who are counting.

I would be interested to know how it goes. Are you looking to sell it? DO you have contacts there or have just been searching the net?

    You know what,

if you do the math basically your paying pretty much what a good price on a f car would go for in canada. Let say you buy a 85 308. I have seen them for about 32000 US for a good one not a great one. When you apply 32000 *1.25*1.03*1.07= 44084, transportation not included. Now for example at ZRAUTO in calgary they are having some blow out prices, they have a 85 308 QV selling for 45g, orginally listed at 54g. I am not sure you save much on buying from the US much anymore. However, you can always fly into a nice deal. Out east in canada the prices are not much different. The best deal on a ferrari I found in the states is a 1981 308 gtsi, great shape for 20G, something like that is worth it but rare. I myself researched extensively in the US and Canada, and finally purchased my ferrari in montreal.
