My friend just took these off I-95 and Atlantic in SoFL. http://www.mustangmods.com/data/2680/gt3.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/2680/gt2.jpg
How did he manage that one? He must have had some air and landed that way. I wonder how much crane rental is?
Couldn't tell you. My friend who took the pics couldn't find the owner. It's an off-ramp, though, so who knows what he did. I'm not usually someone to judge, but probably somebody with more money than sense.
Not necessarily. That's a decreasing radius ramp if he was heading EB and that car has a ton of power. A little slip with the throttle (or stepping on the clutch in the middle of the turn) and you'd have a sitution like that. That car looks pretty strong though.
My first thought was, "wow, that car looks rigid!" Nothing looks bent or sagging (or snapped, in the case of a CF tub).
Probably got caught in the daily afternoon rain shower & the black ice caught up with him. At least the car looks like it might be intact. Actually looks pretty cool resting like that ):
I think this is just evidence that my previously proposed, "Buy a CGT, get a free Cayenne" sales promotion needs to be put in effect. This gentlemen was obviously trying to use the off-roading ability of a Cayenne but had only a Carrera GT on-hand. If he would have only gotten an SUV with his sportscar, then all would be well...
Uh, considering a pickup bumping a CGT at 0,02mph causes 150k in damage, this must be at least 2-3 billion for a repair bill !!!
It was a water drainage test to see if the water would get up high enough to wash the car away in the culvert.--It was staged!!! And if you beleive that I have a 328 for sale.
Actually, looking at it a little more closely the scale looks a bit off to me...sure it's not a P-shop?
I can verify these are real pics, not photochops. And here's the story from my friend who took the pics: "OK here's the story. I have a good friend at a competing Porsche store (I almost went to sell for them). He told me it was an ordered car that had just come in, and a porter was sent out to gas it up when he got a little crazy. Champion Porsche had to call the store my buddy works for (Braman) and they happened to have an identical car in the showroom, they sold it to Champion for sticker."
