Does anyone know the formula to figure out how liters equal cubic inches.

    For example:
427 ci = 7 liters I know that but I dont know the others like 454 ci equals ??? liters.

A table who be great so I wouldnt have to memorize them (I not great at memorization).

Thanks! and sorry about the noob question

Easier for me to remember is that there are 61 cubic inches per litre. It's not exact but it's close enough.

454ci= 7.44 litre (some companies round everything off so it may be shown as a 7.5 litre)

It's all proportional, so if you know one data point, you can easily calculate all others:

    454 / 427 * 7 = 7.442

or to calculate the cubic inches in a Daytona (4.4l):

    4.4 / 7 * 427 = 268 cu in.

    Easy, no? :)

Well if you want to get exact about it. That extra .07122 must be why my 308 feels so fast!! ;)

actually, a 308 is 2.927 L, or 179 cu in. But a 298 would just sound wrong somehow....
