Do you think your getting paid when a team is making no money??...well if you have a motgage and bills than you might need to get a job so the bank won't take your house away(but i guess if you live in your parents basement it really doesn't matter)..what a thought. For being on a ferrari website having $2m in cars i don't think is a rarity. The funny thing is, most of the people you are talking to are known Ferrari owners and they don't talk about the value of their car collections. It just shows that you are full of ****. What is it? I'm sorry if you don't believe me..i know i'm not lying so thats all that matters. And i never had my story anything..during a lock out teams don't pay their players so to pay for things i had to get a job for the time being to help pay my bills,let alone my buisness is struggling to get off its feet and i'm losing money everyday. And yes my dad happens to own a car dealersjip..but that has nothing to do with me..and he didn't help me get where i'm at. Its just funny becuase you'd think that upper class people that own a ferrari are classy...but most people on here with a ferrari treat you like crap for no reason.

Most people who own $2 million in cars don't have to worry about making the mortage and bill payments, escp. when your making atleast six-figures in the pros. Also, many pro players headed to Europe to make money or play minor league players.
There are tons of f430's running around Columbus Ohio. Columbus is the next boomtown(sarcasm) Another rust belt paradise, Pittsburgh is the city where I see a lot of unsold Eslise's sitting on the lot. It's just not a car that a lot of people acctually want to buy. There is a huge difference between cool to look at and want to buy.

We have a couple of pro sports teams (blue jackets,crew, landsharks,),the clippers(yankee AAA team). We host pga and lpga golf events jack nicholas lives in columbus,so does john glenn Ohio state is one of the largest colleges in the united states,and has won more national championships than any other school in history. It has to be a big school for the president to speak at graduation. Do you like wendy's??...started in columbus..dave thomas had a home at buckeye lake before he passed away. Ever heard of shottensteins?..nationwide insurance?...the limited?(bath and bodyworks/victoria secret/gap/lane bryant/old navy)..started in columbus. Less Wexner(owner of the limited) has the second largest house in the united states..you can see it from space. etc. etc. stc. We have over 300 mcdonald's in columbus..thats a lot for being a rust belt paradise...columbus isn't just farmland like most people think. Avoiding the thread drift that seems to have occurred, I can give you a specific local picture on Elise availability. Silicon Valley Auto Group in Los Gatos CA is the local dealer. I think there are 2 other dealers within a 100 mile radius. At one point SVAG had over 200 names on a waiting list. I was slightly past mid-way (#124) and was told about 18 months for delivery (got on list in Feb'04 and expected Oct-05). The delivery times have held up reasonably well, as I was asked to spec my car in June for late Fall delivery. I chose to get off the list at that time as I had changed my mind (getting more interested in a Ferrari to replace my newer Porsche). However, I had observed the dealer inventory at SVAG throughout this period and I would say that for the first 6 months (Summer '04 to Feb'05) most on the waiting list took delivery (some of those guys had waited since 2002 or earlier!) as very few cars were available at SVAG, perhaps 1 per month at $10K premium. Starting in Spring, there was 1-2 per month, and now it looks like 3-4 per month of cars available for sale by the dealer in June/July. Since the dealer should be getting 6-7 cars per month (18 months to work through #124 on the list), I suspect as many as half the cars the dealer is getting are from build positions that were relinquished by wait list holders. SVAG seems to be asking a premium for off-the-lot sales, about $5K, but negotiable. As SVAG typically prices their cars very high, I suspect that they will sell for sticker with a little negotiation. Of the 3-4 cars they get per month, they seem to turn over about every 4 weeks right now, so they are moving cars pretty briskly. But given that the enthusiasts are migrating off the list so drastically, I suspect that the days of even MSRP will be gone by Winter. It's still a fun car (I certainly took the chance to drive one), but not for everyone. It will handle better than a Boxster and do 0-60 faster, but is easily damaged and almost as expensive as a Boxster while a lot less comfortable and practical. Hate to break this to you bud, but you are the only person on this thread lacking credibility. There are several mature ways you could stop this nonsense, but you have chosen only to perpetuate it. If you really have all of these cars, then by all means, share your experiences. Tell us about them, what you think about their handling, etc... The ball has been(and remains) in your court. If you are so legit then why are you making such a fuss? Give us ONE good reason to believe you. I'm serious, just one. And no, there is no way you write for a magazine because your prose(even with this only being an internet forum) is not up to the level of a professional writer.
