"I just wish it would get here!! Sheesh. Now they are saying it might not get here until Sunday!!?? WTF???" Heh heh! Who's sick?
Nope, I'm cool with my decision. Now I wish I'd kept the keys though. Just to put on the bar, and sleep with. I will have one before Mr. Urotrash does.
Nope. Not here yet guys.... Maybe I shouldn't say this, but maybe it was better it DIDN'T come yesterday as it was supposed to. I started cleaning my garage around 11 A.M. and didn't get it done until 10 P.M.!!!! But it looks AWESOME!! I had a "junk removal" guy out to pick up a load of JUNK that I had laying around in the garage (boxes, boxes of junk, and other useless stuff I would never have done anything with!!). Cost me $80 and was WELL worth it!! Then I took all the grass clippings I had in bags (3 bags of it from Thursday night) and other "compost" my wife had in a garden wagon to the compost site. Removed EVERYTHING else from the garage and gave it a good blasting with the leafblower which cleaned it well (including a few pesky spider-webs that had found their way into the corners). We then cleaned out the wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee since we are selling it due to lack of room (we will now have 4 cars and only a 3 car garage again (she has a Ford Escape now). So basically the extra time allowed me to get a lot of crap done. I DID get my Ferrari banners hung. Haven't had time to finish off the "Ferrari stall" with the fireboard like I wanted to yet. It is just studded. Oh well. Had been meaning to do that for awhile, but no time!! Heck, I have been up since 6 A.M. now and didn't go to bed till 2 last night but really can't sleep!! Car was promised that it would be here before noon today. They are calling me at 8 A.M. to let me know where they are. I might as well go and take some pics of the garage and post em as long as I am at it!!
Alright, here are a few.... Included are the key shot with a shot of the garage and another, which I will call the "before shot" notice the........ 1. Depressed (almost angry) blank stare of a guy awaiting delivery of his first FCar. 2. Dark circles under eyes from a restless 4 hour sleep the night before. 3. The unshaven growth of stubble. THAT ain't gettin' shaven either till AFTER I go for my first spin around the block!! 4. The empty 3rd stall in the garage. 5. Chair in background that I have already placed so that I can sit and stare at the car tonight when it is parked in the garage without having to worry about scratching the car later by trying to carry a chair to the corner once the car is in the stall. Sad. 6. The Ferrari banners that I have had hanging and have gotten crap for from the neighbors for weeks. Heck, even the 9 year old neighbor kid asked "why I had Ferrari banners when I had a Porsche?"!! I have had to explain to everyone that the Porsche was being sold FOR a future Ferrari and I was just "getting ready". We'll see who is sad now!! More to come.......... When She Is Delivered - Sky blue will be a deeper blue - - the wind will be brisker - - the clouds will be puffier - - and if it's raining outside, you'll be sitting in that red fold-up chair in your garage - - DROOLING!!! Don't forget to drive her. I did about 100 miles today just F-----g around and every mile was heaven!!! Enjoy in great health. Cheers, Hank
Yeah we may never hear from him again. That's the huge drawback of getting a Ferrari. Really cuts into your f-chat time.
Only for the first few months, when you can't remember where the computer keyboard is because you're you're trying to remember where you put all those expensive "CAR CARE" spray bottles. Enjoy, & Cheers, Hank
