    My new 308 has had its interior rear view mirror lost by the previous owner. I've aquired one, but I'm missing the base that glues to the windshield.
    I'd like to try and fabricate one, so can any one take a picture of what theirs looks like? Even if its mounted to the windshield, it would still be helpful. Thanks.

    there is no separate base /removable / that i found, its one piece, mine fell off when i was messing around with my radar detector mounting. use silicone adhesive glue , and prop it up with a stick overnight . clean/ strip surfaces prior .

    I was really bugged with years of dust that had accumulated in my '77 308's rear view mirror until I realized that it can be dissasembled in ten seconds, cleaned and slapped back together!
