    Ferrari Spa has given official sanction for Ferrari to be the host marque of this years Classic Adelaide held in South Australia November 16-20, 2005. Over 100 Ferrari's are expected to take part in the event, which is Australia's best all tarmac rally. There is a competition category as well as a touring category and in previous years both F40's and F50's have participated. In last years event a Carrera GT competed with no incident.     I'm sure everyone here would like to take their Ferrari for a week to Australia - is it a fully sponsored jaunt ? - if not might an indication of cost be helpful ?

    Have a look at the website www.silverstoneevents.com but I believe the event costs Aus $14,000 for 2 people and your car freight is included, this includes accommadation, insurance, vehicle registration and a full hospitality package including most meals. Not bad value all up. Of course you do need to fly to Australia, but then that is always worthwhile.
