    Randy,

I have been nice to you about this ... but I give up. The post you are talking about I posted 1 week ago, surely as a consultant you have the intelligence to read the original post dates ... obviously NOT!!

Ban me if you like but you are obviously stupid and have no sense of humour ... what a pity sigh.

    Mike,

Yep good summary of the race ... and yes glad for Kimi. The problem now will be that we KNOW the McLaren will not last the next race :(

Tifosi, etc. ... what was wrong with the Renault team? ... surely more than just wrong tyre choice?

The top 3 or 4 teams are not *that* close....

McLaren is much faster than the others (except Alonso). Renault had a bad weekend, and will probably have a bad weekend at Turkey as well.

Agree ... the McLaren is the car for pace, but the Renault is not a dud ... but they will be a very nervous team now.

McLaren is coming and they know how to win ... Renault don't (admitedly some of the team do ...) and the comporate pressure will be enormous for that FIRST (drivers) WC!

    Awesome season :).

Was watching the F1 race at an Fchatter's house when Solipsist shouted this during the replay of the crash... I thought it was worthy of a photoshop. :)

Pete, my mistake regarding the date of the original post. But when you haven't seen the race yet, and are eagerly awaiting watching it on the tivo replay, you can just guess at the kind of emotional reaction that someone would get when they see the title of the thread. Would I bother looking at the posting date when the topic looked recent: Hungarian GP and the subject line said 'at Hungary'. Would I have read the content? Or would I have just bumped up the next thread. Would that make sense to you or would you rather just keep saying "idiot" and add me to the ignore list.

I'm still unsure about giving up when you said you were trying to be nice, and I'm not going to bother going through old threads to find them.

Oh, I'm not a moderator. I never asked nor inquired any kind of banning whatsoever. You can be an ********* and piss off someone else or the mods on your own grounds. I don't play politics when it comes to banning, so don't suggest such tactics from me.

Don't worry you're not on my ignore list ... but this is the second time I have been accused of posting spoiling threads recently, and probably the first time I almost deserved it ;) :D (but to be honest I did not think the RB thread regarding Hungary would still be around this time ... and I posted it to prove that we always give RB **** ... why 'cause he is useless!).

Anyway the joke back fired I guess ... my small protest at the rediculous spoiling comments in this post: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=135087596&postcount=100

Based on that post we cannot talk about RB or any other driver around a race time incase somebody thinks we were talking about the actual race ...

We should look at real solutions like:
Can we take the 'mouse over' preview away from the racing forum ... many other forums do not have this 'mouse over' preview and could you also make the racing forum not display the latest thread (when in the main forum)?

    Pete

Well, that's why I started the Flavio thread. I still believe they made a major blunder by not fueling him up to the top and changing strategy. Somehow I think Ross Brawn would have been faster on his feet and made that call. I mean if a spectator like me makes that call within seconds of the accident, why don't they?

However then I was thinking that is takes some time to prep the refueling machine, maybe that was the issue.

Maybe the tires wouldn't hold out with too much fuel or the lap times would drop too much. I think Todt said every 10 kilos is 0.4 second a lap?

    Ciao, Peter

p.s. Ferrari made a similar call at the Nürburgring with Barichello. They could have filled him up on his second to last pitstop as he was way ahead of the next guy. Instead he went for an extra stop. That still beats me.

He was on the hardest compound tires, so I don't think that played a role.

You can actually pass at Nuerburgring. You can't in Hungary.

I still believe they goofed major league.
