    im driving from aspen to texas tomorrow, and am thinking of driving through pikes peak area, first off is there an auto museum of any sort there? or any thing auto related worth checking out on the way back???

    I'm not sure if there is anything auto-related to see on your driving route but if you've never done the drive to the top of Pikes Peak, it is certainly worth your time...just be prepared to clean dirt out of every little nook and cranny of your car afterwards:)

    would a BMW 7 series make it?? dont care bout dirt/scratches/bumps... its an old car....

    If you're car is road worthy for the Texas trip, I'm sure it would do fine up to Pikes Peak.

    Nope. When driving along Hwy 24 on your way to PP, you might see a sign on the right-hand side of the road on a building that says "RACE CAR MUSEUM". This is in the hippie town of Manitou Springs, and the building now houses a clothing retailer, along the lines of Goodwill/Arc. The haven't gotten around to taking the sign down, so don't bother exiting and trying to visit the place. Unless you want some new threads.
