Saturday pm - Its a worry.....but Steve will have found his feminine side...he's already taking the drugs
Forgot i was out with you two in a couple of weeks. Could you and Steve please refrain from the bleached hair, peach linen suits and espidrills that are compulsory for any 80s throwback.
LOL...and for a rather unscientific test: I showed my car pics around the office yesterday, having just got my Ferrari. The cars in question were a 348 Spider and a Lotus Elise. See http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69523 Quite a few of the blokes preferred the Elise' looks overall. I have to confess that side by side, I do too - just being honest here guys BUT, all the girls, without exception preferred the 348 Spider. Some went pretty ga ga over it in fact Not a reaction they've ever had for the Elise, which itself is a head-turner. Jas
So whay does that tell ya Jas?.....ya got the wrong bloody car....ya should have go the ..3.....5.....5.... but now its to late, ya stuck with it now
I have seen the light....hallelujah!! Would anyone like to buy my 348 Spider from me PLEASE???? I can't stand having attractive young women going weak at the knees eyeing up my car, and would much rather buy a pink 355 convertible with limp-wristed power steering just like Chaa's.....so I can attract every gay man for miles
Thanks for your kind words. Water Wetter lubricates your water pump slightly better than your anti-freeze, so besides lowering your water temp a few degrees, you do get a little longer water pump life (for whatever that's worth). But if your water temp never goes more than a few degrees past your mid-point on your gage, then you probably don't really need it.
I don't personally know of any 355's that were done like the 348 Competiziones...but surely a few 355 Challenges were similarly souped up (one would think). I saw a picture of the engine of that 500bp 348 Competizione in Japan. Very close to stock, save slightly larger air intakes (colored black) that routed air in directly rather than through the stock 348's two air intake curves. That's what should have gone into the 355's...a 3.4 liter V8 with 500hp.
I've overheard girls on two occasions say "Nice Porsche Boxter" to different Ferrari 360 Spider owners. That's got to hurt.
I've been doing some intensive research and have made a list of celebritys who drive F355's and 348's. F355 owners/drivers from the UK we have: Dale Winton (Spyder) Charlotte Church Timmy Mallet (Spyder) The Krankies Chaa (Fchat celebrity) (Spyder) Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards Boy George Lily Savage Stephen Hawkins F355 USA & International/drivers Liberace Dolly Parton The cast of baywatch Pee Wee Herman Paris Hilton Micheal Jackson Famous 348 Drivers Tom Cruise Charles Bronson God Russell Crowe George Clooney Batman
Hey angelis, By mistake you left my name off the 348-celebrity list. Around here only celebrities drive Ferraris, and if you werent A celebrity before just buy a Ferrari & you soon will be! or at least the local law enforcement feels that way
Looks like all 355 owners are selling their cars. On pistonheads.com, 355's = 14 for sale and 348's = 3 for sale. On autotrader.co.uk 355's = 124 for sale and 348's = 42 for sale. Better sell your car quick Chaa, or it'll be worth less than a Honda Accord.
i see lots of 355 's around but as far as 348's ive seen only one so far. so that makes me like mine that much more. ps, im still waiting for some hot chick to ask for a ride, looks like its not going to happen for me.
Other USA 355 drivers Vanilla Ice Kim Fields Mr. Roper from 3's company Bill Nye the science guy Cher Barbara Bush Other USA 348 drivers Pam Anderson Bill Tracy Wesley Snipes The Rock Laird Hamilton
