I typically enjoy one of the two following breakfasts, but will wander off to others from time to time. 1. country style scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, croissant, with a big glass of O.J. and a big glass o' milk. Plain, simple...delicious! 2. The occasional Waffle House breakfast with the waffle, one or two eggs, buttery toast, and their sausage. So tough to beat! What breakfast foods get your motors running in the mornings?
1. Two eggs over easy. A few pieces of crispy bacon. One biscuit split open and covered in sausage gravy (real milk gravy not the canned or powdered cr@p). A small portion of well done hash browns. A small bowl of cheese grits. Wash it down with OJ and coffee. Charge up the defibulator. 2. Cheese blintzes with strawberries (or blueberry compote) and milk.
-oatmeal made w/ skim milk, half banana, splenda and a dash of cinnimon... -fresh ground coffee......
Floppy bacon, bagel with cream cheese (no diet anything for this boy!) (correction: LOTS of floppy bacon! )
Eggs, broken, turned over, on top of a toast. Bacon. A little fruit. Maybe some beans in tomato. Lots of tabasco. Capuccino and an extra large freshly squeezed OJ.
La Madeleine make a great custom omelette. I enjoy mine with green peppers, sausage, mushrooms, & cheese. Add a cup of coffee, orange juice, & a croissant to complete the breakfast. www.lamadeleine.com
There's breakfast... ...and then there's Carbon Breakfast. Ham, egg and cheese sandwiches... Replace ham with bacon or porkroll when desired/necessary... Don't be stingy with the meat, the cheese or the eggs... Wash it down with a Cherry Coke or a ridiculously chocolatey milk and thank Andrea when you're done, for letting you use her blessed kitchen... Lately I've really been a fan of scrapple. I know it's the worst crap on earth and I'd probably want to slit my wrists if I watched how it's made but I really like it. Oh, and the Bananas Foster at Brennan's in New Orleans doesn't suck either...
