I have a client who bought one of the early cars and he had so many problems he got rid of it after 3 months. He complained it really didn't feel that solid and there were a lot of quality issues with his car. One thing I noticed, that I've heard from others, was the poorly alligned nav cover. The piece really didn't fit well at all. I was told by another friend that his was a problem with a lot of early cars. I haven't owned one so take it with a grain of salt. I will say when I see it the car looks hot. Maybe just watch out for the early production cars.

The DB9 is a beautiful car. I drove one four months ago. The ride is nice the shifting is crisp and it is a drop dead gorgeous car. I was going to buy one until the dealer asked me if I wanted to drive a Vanquish. Well, it arrived on thursday. It is by far the most awesome car I've ever driven. A true GT. But the DB9 is a really nice car. You also don't see too many of them around.

    I wouldn't even consider a P O r S c h e.

As far as the 6 speed vs auto that is a personal taste. But IMHO after having owned a 360 spider F1 for over one year, an S 55 for one year and an SL 55 for one year, a paddle shift 6 spd manual is not much different than a paddle shift auto. If it don't have a clutch and a gear shift it aint a manual-period.
By the way I like the Vanquish F1 better than the spider. The Ferrari is quite abrupt, slamming into gears (at times making me worry about parts breaking), whereas the Vanquish seams to ease into gears.

It's a licenced copy of a Renault 12,made in late 70/80 in Romania.
Quite popular in the Countries with the Great Economy so much lamented by some of these misguided souls in Political threads below.
(total piece of s$%$t,a little better then Yugo)

I have had the chance to drive the coupe, and it seemed like a very nice machine, though lacking in what I attitude. I saw a drop parked outside my Saturday night hangout. Car is beautiful, though every review I've read did mention cowl shake. I'd go with the DB9

I repeat again: no cowl shake in my loaner Volante, felt more substantial and solid then my 997S!
