Female Ferrari Owners and Their Cars

I sold my etype to a old lady in Cali!...she was reminising having lost her virginity as a result of a etype many many years ago...she is now in her own etype time machine....got to give her credit. don't know a single fcar female owner or even driver. most girls I know after a ride around the block and dealing with the heat, the stiff ride and noise, and poor visibility, can't wait to get into a guys prosche or benz or bimmer were they feel much "safer" most girls I know that like an uncomfortable ride are into bikes and biker chicks really think f-car guys are arrogant snobs. Please let's find some F-car female owners to prove me wrong...we had someone here on f-chat a long while ago with a 308..think she sold it after a disaster of a heater hose replacement (hell I wouldn't even do that).

 

Frances K in Dallas come out and reveal yourself. She has a silver 360. Maybe she will see this thread. If so, I am sure she will respond.

 

for the women I know , reliability and getting there is a real important part of a auto purchase. Some guy here I think was discussing getting a f-car for his wife, most of these gift purchases wind up being a Bentley or a Aston though.

 

I bought my 348 from a woman owner in Boca Raton. I also know of a woman who owns a black 355 in Park City, UT. Her husband owns and uses his 360 as a daily driver. Next week my wife will have to drive my car as her minivan will be in the repair shop.
Guess I will have to give another one of those painful driving lessons this weekend.

I guess I would qualify. I pretty much claim the Porsche as mine, since it is my track car and my husband rarely drives it, but I tend to log more seat time in the 308GTS than he does.

I went looking through my old pics from that day and there was a make a wish car there, and I can't remember if it was her car, but there can't be that many female drivers. Anyways, the car began smoking and she pulled off, hit the fire system and bailed out. She was fine, but no one at the time knew what kind of damage the car had sustained.

 

Still is... After 22 years, she's finally giving it up... Check the classified ads in this issue of the Ferrari Market Letter...

 

There is lady that is having here 250 GTL fully restored at Francois S's shop. I think she is the original owner.

Dana's Challege car is already gone, I believe. A real nice Boxer, note the wheel update, away from the original knock offs. Moorespeed did that work, IIRC.

I qualify in part as Sophia lives with a two parent family. She's not a daily driver - for me that's either a Chevy 2500 HD 4x4 Dura-Max; MB C320C or MB SLK350 - too many speed bumps and teeny boppers at school for Sophia to spend the day. No pics of the two of us, however, I'm in several photos on the Owner's website.

Here's Sophia - she's a neat lady, only 1 of 42 to ever be exported to the US.
