It would have been nice to see this color in real light, instead of tucked in the garage... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-84-308-GTSi_W0QQitemZ4567817662QQcategoryZ6212QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I've never seen one this color - even in photos this is a first. Probably extremely rare.
check out this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60466 Michael has a prugna color 89 Mondial t coupe that is awesome. I do think the color achieves it's fullness with the crema rather than tan interior. The color is definitely not common and definitely less common on a car in which only 42 were ever exported to the US. Carol here's a couple 308's in prugna: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/627010 http://www.cardomain.com/ride/306468 (best photos)
This 328 was on E-Bay a while back also prunia: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4554448453&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
This GTB was for sale at the dealer in Salt Lake City several years back. Personally I think that it is a great color. Then again I enjoy marching to a different drummer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If it is as advertised, that is one nice 308 for a very good price. Home equity loan..... no.... wife would not go for another 308 (911, yes...)
My 308QV was originally ordered in that color, but when it arrived, the new owner didn't like it, so he had the dealer take it apart and repaint it red! So my paintjob is as old as the car, but not factory.
Seems like a decent price; however, this car was offered by the same seller in February 2004 using the exact same pictures and same mileage. Either the mileage is is wrong, or the car has not moved in the last year-and-a-half. Original listing says full service at authorized dealer 9/10/03. Detailed PPI would definately be in order.
