Can anyone tell me what the body color selections were for the F355?? I am seriously considering buying a 355 and I see mostly red and Yellow. I am thinking of getting a different color then the usual..maybe white..but I never saw a white 355 and that color may not even been available..any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks
not many of them around as far as im aware, and the ones that i have seen come up thru auctions etc fetch way below the same car in red or yellow or black (basically, the standard ferrari colours). do yourself a favour and buy "keith martin on collecting ferrari" published by motor books international. check page 65 in particular where he mentions the white testarossa selling well below comparable red examples based largely on colour. from memory there are a number of other comments to this effect through the book, but regardless its a very good book to have and each time it is reprinted (yearly i think) the worldwide auctions are reveiwed and detailed along with his comments, so its very helpful to see what certain examples of certian cars are selling for worldwide. its not an expensive book but will save you a fortune. the irony of me mentioning this book is that in his "ferraris that you are guarenteed to loose money on" section, my 1991 348 gets a total pasting and if i had bought the book prior to buying my 348 i probably would not have bought it. yet because i bought an excellant example of the car, im very very pleased with it and wouldnt trade it for the world. so there you go! who knows.
