For those of you having trouble sourcing Agip lubricants, they conveniently have a distributorship in Medina, Ohio (a distant burb of Cleveland). My folks live in Medina, about 5 minutes from the Agip distributorship so anyone near Cincinnati needing any type of lubricants from them, please feel free to e-mail me at: [email protected] and I will be happy to cart a bunch back to Cincinnati with me on my next trip north. All of the Agip products we get over here are refined in Cabot, PA EXCEPT for the SINT2000 which does actually come from Italy (I picked up a case of 24 1-litre bottles on my last visit). I know the Ferrari manuals recommend SINT2000 10W-50 but the only weight now available (at least here) is the 10W-40.

I've used Agip products for years in all of my vehicles and have nothing but good experience to share. My Turbodiesel Mercedes daily driver with 300K miles on it has had Agip Super 10W-40 dino oil (and no, it is not diesel rated) for the past 150K or so and continues to use no oil between 3K changes. I also use Agip DEX III ATF and the 80W-90 gear oil. All good stuff, made to a high standard. Prior to Agip, I used FINA lubricants (from Belgium) but they got really hard to come by so I made the switch to Agip.

    Cheers,
