I think I'm gonna do several people a big favour.... Here you go: the 348 repair manual 270 Mb .pdf Right of the orange arrow its says in dutch "download here" Speeds are about 85 / 75 kbs.. When to many people are there at once speed is likely to drop. Hope some people don't blame me for putting this link here... I got a lot of help here, now it's payback.. http://www.megaupload.com/nl/?d=20P7SNWS
When I follow your link, the only download available is a "premium download". The site seems to indicate that there is a free download, but does not say how to use it. I am a little concerned about sending my credit card info outside the US. Any ideas?
No no, it's a free site. You can download for free... Ok, he recognizes me by my cookie, but when I push the link I get this screen. You don't ? Simply push the botton... ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Doesnt work for me either. Makes me create and account no matter what. I dont like how login isnt SSL either what a strange website.
That button you circled says "Download with Premium" when I click on your link. Different than the screenshot you posted. It wants a login name and password, or you have to register and pay for their service.
Mmm... my apologizes.... unfortunately F chat doesn't allow to delete posts. Sorry, I'm gonna look for another way this weekend... :-(
Quote from the site: We are glad to implement a new policy, which improves our service quality for the majority of our users: Lately, huge files of very few users were swamping our servers and lines, disturbing the many downloads of most users sending normal sized files. Now we are making it fairer by reducing the maximum free file size from 500 MB to 250 MB and leverage a nominal fee to become a premium member and transfer files of more than 250 MB. This gives most users better performance and faster downloads, while still allowing a few power users to exchange huge files at a megacheap flatrate. I've just registered for a day, paid my 2 bucks, and started the download as a Premium member. It's just indicating another 76 hours to go !!!!! And that's using ADSL!
About a month ago, on Ebay, I brought what I thought had been factory Ferrari Manuals on a disk. I paid about $22.00 usd no real big deal. When I got them they are scanned manuals in PDF format then burned to a disk. Well long story short I inturn have burned about ten of these and if anyone cares to have one let me know. You pay actual shipping of the disk from my location to wherever you resided.
s h i t ! I've just realised I've got this manual already from an eBay CD ROM. I thought there might at last be a manual out there with some upholstery, trim etc. bits in it but this doesn't seem to be the case. Download is now progressing at 343 Bytes/s...................
Sorry for the unconvenience... I already regret I brought it up. So indeed (as the file is 20mb higher than the "free" 250 mb) you have to register for very little money. I am not sure (am at work) if I am able to make it smaller, perhaps by making a .rar or .zip from it. Gonna try at home this evening. BUT, I just logged in through my link and after 1 minute I have a steady 145kb/s with 32 minutes left. So that's not slow. Later...
Just tried to start the download agin in the hope of a better connection and got "Server Busy - try again later" !!!! No criticism to you , Henkie, as you're trying to help us all, but that hosting website is the pits!
Of course I believe you, but don't understand... Here, from 1 minute ago: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Henki, If you want, you can put it on CD and post it to me. I'll upload it to one of my sites. However, due to the size of the download, I'll only give access to 348 owners here on fchat.
You dare post anything else before you convert my Capristo clips Mo Fo......go on i dare you....i double dare you......
Listen, it's very easy. When you want it, mail me and you get my login and password. I trust you that you won't abuse it for the rest as I helped you also. Of course only for the 348 people I see here regularly. It's a superb .pdf. Nothing to compare (graphicalwise) with the normal manual I have as .pdf for my 348. [email protected]
Thanks, I downloaded the manual last evening. It only costs $1.99 to subscribe for the day and the content is well worth it. Its simliar to the one I got off ebay but includes the electrical diagrams which are well worth the money. I'm still looking for a complete shop manual -the one used by the Ferrari mechanics, is there anything like this out there?. TRutlands has a 3 book set for $1000+ on their ebay store. If they gave complete details how to do just about anything they would be worth it. The info on this forum has been great. It's not that I'm cheap but I've been restoring cars for 30+ years and I love working on cars. I'm currently doing a body off restoration on my 1956 xk 140 jag. My 348 is just another toy I'd like to work on. Paul
