I love the F40 but in comparision with the Enzo, I have to go with the Enzo. The Enzo got all the F40 and F50 together in styling and performance...IMO
It also came top of some supercar test Evo did a few year back I think - I love 'em. Also remember some Arab rally champ taking Clarkson on a blat around his local roads in Dubai or somehere - amazing.
F50 No Contest -I refer to Evo's article on the subject ! GTO for looks alone though..... F50, GTO and Enzo are all Limited Production Supercars - F40's were stamped out like bean tins - Not worth the money IMHO - Good driver's car though, but not apatch on all the other's. Seb
1st F50 -yellow 2nd I think the ... F50 -rosso 3rd Emmm .... I know F50 -nero 4th? Maybe I'm boring! BTW for you 288GTO lovers there are some new his-res pics of a Nero French plated GTO over on http://www.swisscarsightings.com & then a bit further in the same batch of photos some of a 360CS? Why the question mark? Well this one has the pop out 'factory fit' sunroof & the stripe is a little different. SP
288 GTO Enzo F50 F40 For me it's a close call between the Enzo and the 288. The Enzo is undoubtedly the better car, but I would rather be seen in the 288.
absolutely no competition whatsoever .... called by to see her again on saturday: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats how I see it. Heart says 288 every time, but head and testosterone says "478bhp, flames, twin turbos, V8, carbon seats, kicking the 959, Athena poster, kicking XJ220 and EB110." Had a memorable ride in an F50 some 7 years ago. The fella even let me drive the thing for 4 miles or so..... true parting of the waves on the motorway..... did go like stink! remembered thinking "how the f--k can we be accelarating this fast and theres still traction?" 70mph in 1st at the redline if I recall.
I go for most outrageous looks first: 1. F40 2. F50 3. 288 GTO 4. Enzo Notice there is a bit of a gap between the Enzo and the other models, this is because in reality the Enzo falls behind the others for looks (to my eyes anyway). FACT - Save yourself more than 3 quarters of a million pounds sterling and plump for an F40 or F50 if you want to turn more heads than an Enzo.
I cant see the results of the poll thus far becourse i realy cant make the choice. But i am indeed curious.....whos ahead in the vote thus far??
Mmm thanks man, though if my numbers came up tomorrow i think it would be out of the 288, f40 and f50........or not i dont know. I will let you know tomorrow night
Help I've been doctor'd / mis-quoted / interfered with...!!! Ok, yes Dan your car is truely..... errr "rare" and uummmm... "red" and should have been included in this survey, but I feel it may pull up a little shy of 70 in 1st gear, (or any gear for that matter)
