This is a beautiful watch... I believe they replicated some of the automotive parts to develop this watch. I don't have the detailed info. What do you guys think about this one? Don't be so hard on him, he's just looking for an opinion since he's obviously incapable of his own. C.
So what you're saying is he should get a subscription to Robb Report, same information, less harassment...
Scene 2 from date: [Narrative] Patrick: The waiter at Shutter's was wearing one. When he reached for the lobster money, my wonderful date was really staring at him. Later, when she thought I wasn't looking, she asked him for the number of the store where he got it. Shes great, isn't she? I can't wait to get my (gift) Swatch! Dating can be fun!! He he he....
But it also fails to feed the ego.. if you can't talk about everything you're thinking of buying in some vain ploy for attention, it's not much fun is it? C.
Patrick, this watch came up a few months ago, probably on the watch thread. Last I heard, it wasn't scheduled for production. Target price IIRC is about $10k.
jeez guys.....just talk about the watch! Don't be Idiots. He has the right to voice his thoughts, and If you don't want to voice yours (about the WATCH) then don't post. Not all of US can afford a watch like that...at least we can talk about it. Good post though patrick. My opinion- I really dig the watch...very innovative imo. Why get a Patek Phillipe or Panerai? Has anyone got the "actual" photos as seen in person instead of those? Much thanks!
Yeah, it really is very innovative. I'm sure timepieces like this take a quite an amount of man hours to build. An impressive timepiece...
Clueless as usual. This is merely a cheap looking knockoff of a Richard Mille (195K watch). You should go for this one like the guy who buys a Honda instead of a BMW or a Fiero instead of a 355! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is there a time period where you have to change the belts? Can you do it yourself, or does it need to go to a dealer? Is it a mechanism out belt change, or can you do it in the watch? If the belt snaps, is the watch ruined? I bet is runs quieter than a gear driven watch. Next we'll be seeing chain driven watches....
I think the $10k is going to be hard enough for him to cough up, now you want to show him the good stuff?
If you think that V4 is expensive you should have a look at the SLR made in conjuction with the MacMerc supercar. Heard it is also 5 figures. The jury is still out on the design, I think you either hate it or love it completely. here's the link: http://www.tagheuer.com/watches/conceptwatch.lbl?watch=3 If u don't like complex watches, seeing the time is gonna give u a real headache. I am just waiting to see if its really true Panerai is teaming with Ferrari, the AMG Panerai is pretty good although it is a limited edition, 100 pieces for titanium and 55 pieces for white gold, prices is somewhere between US50-100K, but if you compare to a Richard Mille it's a bloody bargain!!
