355 owners help !! Looking to buy advise.

    Hello all, im going to fly to florida from nj to look at a 95 355 gts. Allthough
    the dealer says the car is perfect and only has 11,000 miles on it id love to here what some of the owners of these cars has to say. Any advise be helpfull as well as know problems to look for. Thanks in Advance

    Be sure to check service records. No records equals no service. Cam belts need to be changed regardless of milage,simply due to age. Also see if the exhaust manifolds have been updated under warrenty. The originals can crack,due to a poor design. My 97 Spider had this happen. Ferrari replaced both of them at no cost with an updated version. I'm glad because they are about $2500 each. 355's also have a problem of "cooking" their cats. I had to replace one. I've got about 26k on mine, and overall it's been pretty reliable. Other than the above problems, only very minor problems have occured.
