The Targa on my '86 328 is seperating. It seems as though the "skin" is lifting away from the lower portion of the targa, and this is occuring along the rear edge.
Anyone experience something similiar/ is the skin a seperate part?/ suggestions for replair?

I didn't think they were "laminated" only painted fiberglass ? could it be a clear coat on over the paint flakeing ? I don't they were factory clear coated, of course I could be way off on all this ;)

No it's definately seperating, not just the paint flaking..
It seems as though the top portion is a "skin" and the lower portion (inside headliner) is the main component..
maybe tonite I will take some photos & try to post them..

    Yes, along the rear edge..
I was thining of maybe using an epoxy, injecting it along the rear edge and then using two pieces of wood (to spread out the pressure & put them on the outside & inside of the targa edge) & place c- clamps.
But not sure if the glue will seep into the headliner & make a mess there.
