    Has anyone got any images (jpeg etc) of 3x8's being used in old 70's and 80's adverts ? Either as adverts for the cars themselves, or as adverts for other non-related products ?

    I've got a few on my website (www.fugazi.co.uk) but I'm fascinated by these old ads, and I'd love more (plus they are just fun to look at)

    Hello Neville,

    I remember seeing an ad in a magazine called Architectural Digest back in the late 80's. It was a factory ad featuring a red 328 and the bottom of the ad said We Are The Competition. I wish I still had the magazine. I'd send it to you.

    There's the "only those who dare... truly live" ad for the 308 GTB. It ran on the back covers of FCA's "Prancing Horse" mags, among other places. I have a copy, if you don't have it and want a scan.

    drat! Window installers knocked the scanner cord out of my computer, and it won't re-install. Will try to scan it at work Monday.

    in the early eighties, there were two ferrari spa. adds that i remember well for the 308...

    one said..."only those that dare...truly live"

    and the other..."what can be conceived can be created"

    cool guotes for a cool car!
