LA is the high point in the market there are sightly better deals available else where. But you can see a trend developing toward's 20K over for next spring.
Only on coupe's. Spider's will still maintain a premium maybe not what it was in the glory year's but still a good amount.
i concur....no one really can accurately predict the future, but i can see 430 coupes i the 200k range with in 6 months..esp as the supple increase...and production is just starting to be ramped up...keep in mind, the 430 will likey end up the best selling and most produced exotic of all time...over 18k cars world wide by the time production ends
i think as the 430 CS draws closer to an official debut people that currently own 430's may start selling them off for a CS, which will also help with prices.
F430 CS is long way's away you will see a drop in 430 coupe well before any debut of the 430 CS which I think will have a stronger demand than the 360 CS had.
oh yea, im sure its quite a bit away but there is probably a lot of owners eagerly waiting for it's arrival, not sure if there's a list for it but if there is I'm sure people are already lining up.
IMHO, I doubt the 300-400 F430 CS's (if and when released in NA) will have a material impact on 430 Coupe prices. Even if Ferrari doubles the 360 CS production, it'll have a negligible, if any, effect on the market value of F430's. F430 prices should drop over time as is the case with any car -- it's a depreciating asset, after all. I do agree that the 430 CS will have a stronger demand than the current CS. It will be a vastly superior car. If you pay a premium for a 430, that money will be lost -- never to be recouped. If you've paid sticker, you'll do quite well over the long term -- much better than any comparable new exotic currently on the market, whether it be a Porsche, Lambo, or whatever. I sold my 1999 360 Coupe after three and half years of ownership for $140K -- car had a sticker of $156K. Granted my car was in great condition and had been serviced strictly according to Ferrari's recommended guidelines -- I was very happy with this modest (IMO) depreciation. This is in stark contrast to the significant market value decline I've experienced with my recent (last 5 years) string of Porsche cars (all purchased at sticker or below), be they limited edition cars such as a GT2 or GT3 or the more mass produced 996TT. The F430 will hold its value just as well (maybe better) than the 360. And, the 430 is without any question, a better, much improved car over the 360. If you don't like its looks, don't buy one. Just my 2 cents and probably worth less. What do I know?
May I ask a question here? Don't make fun. I've never even bought my own car yet. How did the original owners, who we see driving their 430's to and fro, get on the list? Did their ferrari dealer who they had probably dealt with during other transactions call and ask if they were interested? Because as soon as I even read the first blurb about the "new f430 from ferrari" in an auto magazine years ago, they were all already spoken for. Just planning out for my future
if anyone is willing to pay over sticker for the 430 i'd for sure getting it from the dealer. if u can ''buy'' the future relationship then it's somewhat worth it.
Let's stay on top here, this is the "F430 Price Watch Thread." Anyone else have some real 430's for sale(including details) to report?
Here's a tit/tan with a buy it now of $235K. It appears the money is in the $230's now http://search.ebay.com/Ferrari-F430_W0QQfromZR8QQfrtsZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1
