Yes you could have, but would have it been true?
The rest of the story is that we had just come back from a show and the car was on our trailer. My dad worked for a dealership for many years and I was the only one small enough to climb in and out of the cars with only the window open. So he tought me how to get in the car release the E brake and let the car roll in N. Once the car was off the trailer the guys would catch it and I would get out.
Well this time no one was there to catch it and it rolled down the ramps into the side of the garage. It scratched up the whole side of the car and left it needing a new paint job.
We repainted the whole car and did other work while it was taken apart. Right after it was put back together we sold it, but thats not the point.
And as you can see the story is true and thats pretty unique...I think.

 

I ran from the police (3 departments) in a customer's Porsche 928 S when I was 19 years old (20 years ago). Kept them at bay for 35 minutes. Cops hit the Porsche, did $6,000.00 in damage, boss didn't fire me, 928 owner forgave me. It got reported on the KVIL traffic report. I was supposed to be transporting the car to our service shop when I got stopped for doing 80 in a 55. Cop wanted to take me in for an unpaid speeding ticket; I bolted....

Uh....no. They originally pulled me over & wanted to take me in for the speeding. They escorted me directly to a judge's chambers after they hit the Porsche during the chase.....I got off with a $1,200.00 fine for 5 misc traffic violations during the chase. Stupidest thing I ever did.....

I learned to play pool from David Gilmore, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright when I was 11. They were in Dallas for a concert (for those of you who are slow, they're the remaining members of Pink Floyd) of The Division Bell Tour and they were visiting the home of one of my dad's clients.
