I am have fallen in love with a TDF blue Fcar with a natural interior. I always thought the reds were too flashy. Last week a red 355 GTB broke down in front of my house, and I can't get the look of that red out my mind. Are there any owners here who regret not buying red? Does the red really attract the cops, other unwanted attention?

Always wanted a red Ferrari.....until I saw my black one.

Second choice would be blue....and then barchetta red.

Rosso looks nice but too flash for me.

My experience is that RED does not attract any more attention than any other color unless you are doing something stupid or illegal to start the process...discretion works wonders when driving a Ferrari--save the speed and "lateral-acceleration" tests for little-used back roads!

Not for a minute.... Liked blue so much, when I bought my second F-Car, it was blue also. I like red also, and may get one someday, but I'm definitely into blue more.

They look great in red, but I have NO regrets getting a white one. I would probably buy another white one (TR) next too. Resale isn't as high if it's not resale red, but I bought white because "I" like it.
I still catch a look at my car and think Wow that looks nice!

I found mine in red. It took little more than one year to find one fitting the tech spec. Regrettably it was RED. Black was my first choice, Yellow a close second.

My first was a silver 208gt4. That was the only Ferrari which was in my budget at the time.
Mostly people asked me if it was a Maserati or Lamborghini.
I always said next Ferrari would be red. So I did and I'm very happy with it. :D:D:D

Her only objection on me getting a Ferrari was that I could choose any colour as long as it was red...

Yellow's my favorite, TDF Blue with Tobacco interior second.
Although, I'm happy with my white 348!
Red? They're all red. Dare to be different!
Does the colour make you nore noticable....IT'S A FERRARI.
It doesn't matter what you do, YOU'LL BE NOTICED!

Red is "The" great Ferrari color, but stealthy it is not. I read a study years ago and it proclared that red was the color most observed from great distances and that dark colors were the least "seen". I put this information to the visual test and found it to be true when looking at other cars on the interstate.

When I was looking to buy mine, I thought, either red or blue would work for me. I found a red one first and looked no further.

I agree. Had to be Fly Yellow for me, nothing else. Took 'bout 18 months but well worth the wait. Black is the only other color I would entertain owning.

I had a choice between a red and black Lotus. I took the red for reasons other than color. Now 4 years later I realize getting the better car was way more important than the color! So unless you're buying new or almost new where there are a mutitude of equal cars to choose from, you'll regret getting the right color on the wrong car.

I bought based on mileage, maintenance, PPI, and price. The color wasn't much of a factor.....now, the car is black/black with red piping.....it absolutely SUCKS keeping it clean.

I recently shared my garage with a red/tan model of the same year....and in better shape than mine. I wished I had bought Red instead. It just 'looks' more like a Ferrari than mine, and is probably more enjoyable to drive in the summer months here in the 'deep South'....

Color has a lot to do with my choice and red does indeed draw more attention. Red Ferraris on road cars is a fairly new thing. Back in the 50's through to the early 70's there were just as many non red cars as there was red cars. This appears to be coming back with the 550, 575, 360 and 430 (I believe they look better in non-red colors). Magnum and the 308's kind of started the whole resell red that still lingers today. Personally I like the grey cars, very stealthy. I have personally asked several officers on duty if they noticed my car and the answer was always no. Now the radars they use are color blind.

I don't think I would ever own a red car.

Black and tan looks pretty good to me. In fact, I had a woman comment at the auto show yesterday that she has seen her fair share of red Ferrari's in her time but black ALWAYS does it for her. Said she thought it looked MORE exotic because it wasn't TRYING to look exotic but still was, which made it look even MORESO.

And since I had a black car, I was agreeing with everything she was saying!!!

    :)
