The 355 I recently purchased came with no toolkit. Not knowing what is contained in it, should I be looking for a used one on ebay or can I get by with my stock Craftsman toolset?

I don't think it's essential, though it was a standard item. Most people will look for it for resale value.

Forget it...it is a "nice to have" to make the car complete...the idea of your average Ferrari owner trying to "wrench" anything on the side of the road is pretty far flung.

My advice...buy a couple cans of "fix a flat" and a AAA Plus card. That will get you through 99% of emergencies.

The only thing in there that I don't have is the tow ring. Anyone know the thread size of the ring?

Looks tempting, but $540 for essentially a couple o' wrenches and a belt? Nah, I think I'll pass...

If you just want a tow ring bolt you can get it from the dealer...I bought an extra one from Shelton..they had it in stock and it was about $40...
