I would also be thinking about the damage to their drinking water supply and sewage systems.

All gone.....the surge broke the water mains as well.........they are evacuating all refugees.....

Louisiana has a strange political structure, which may actually help.

National Guard will mobilize parish by parish, assisting local officers, without statewide declaration of Martial Law.

    Neat, eh?

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mayor Ray Nagin, who we met personally, last November.

Until they repair the breached levees against the Lake, it'll remain flooded.

There are several location the Corps of Engineers are responding to, at this time.

Gators do not 'frenzy'.......although no doubt the sharks off Grand Isle and Biloxi are pretty well fed right now........

Alligators prefer to 'stash' their recent kills under submerged logs and such, and let it 'age' a few days.

    Any other questions?

Like this? I guess there is something positive of being poor and not having much in the first place. These two guys look like they don't have a care in the world while so many lost so much they lost so little
