Henry, Congratulations!! Boy are you in for a few weeks of no sleep--but it's worth it. Kids are great fun. Birdman
Henry ; That is what it is all about. !! From here on in, your life will change dramatically. Things that may not have bothered you before will trigger your emotions, you will find that nothing else matters as much as your little one, and there is nothing better. Best advice, ....take a ton of pics.....as a matter of fact, take one every month, in the same place every time. You'll be amazed at the changes when you look at them after a year. Also....buy a local and national newspaper, and put them away for him. When he looks back at 18 or 20, and sees what was going on in the world when he was born, it will amaze him. Treasure him Henry, he's your whole world. hps
Congratulations Henry! It's so much easier dealing with poopie diapers than it is the problems your kids have when they are 19 and 21. Good Luck!
You hope, mine did not sleep through the night until he was almost two years old. Just pray you do not have a revese schedule baby like our son, he slept all day and was awake all night. Congradulations, and buy lots NoDoz so you do not fall asleep at your desk at work and wake up covered in Post Its, it happened to me.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Yes, he is our first. I'm still hoping to find time to work on the Ferrari before he moves out. We feel very blessed. I just wanted to share with you all. As for the shirt, I bought it at one of the vendors at this years United States Gone Prix. That was the best thing to come out of that weekend. Henry
New babies are so cool. Enjoy the time, it flies by and pretty soon you'll be buying them their first car!! Congrats.
I heavily suggest all parents have their kids glucose level checked twice a year. My son has diabetes and he almost died as it was never diagnosed, the doctor's never ordered a glucose test since diabetic kids are only 1% of the population. Pay the extra $2, believe me. If you know someone that is diabetic, borrow their meter for 10 seconds to check it yourself, you do no want to be over 120 or under 70.
