As others on ferrarichat were kind enough to advise me, new sets all the way back to the 308 can be purchased through Ferrari. Go to its website:

    http://www.ferrari.com

and go to the Owners area. If you are not yet signed up for that access, you may have to do that first. There you will find a pull-down menu including the Schedoni sets. Be warned that they are not inexpensive!

Ian, the best thing to do is to order new schedoni of the website. I have been looking for luggage for the past 4 weeks, and everytime luggage appears on ebay, its always least a grand - you'd might as well order the stuff new, at least you know where its been!

Have you tried Woolworth, Argos, BHS, Marks & Sparks, Boots, etc, etc and it will all be new - well maybe not the pound shop!!!!!!!!

    Sorry couldn't resist it.

Hey in MHO sometimes there's more money than sense. However if your boat floats then so be it.

Wish I could afford to do the same. Just replaced the two luggage straps with a section of modified dog lead would you believe. A perfect match!!However you don't want to know that whilst drilling out the 4 rivets I perforated the AC hose!!!!!! Be warned when you sometimes try do do comething cheap it can turn out to be the opposite. Hey now it's your turn to giggle.

    Hey we live and learn.

    Ian,

On a more serious note have you tried www.douglasvalley.co.uk They're the breakers in the Ferrari news magazine. It may be worth a shot. They could mabe put you in touch or offer advice.

Up to your neck of the woods in one month time with dogs and the wife to visit the Dales.

Dogs looking forward to it ??????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    John

Ebay is the best bet! They go for between 1300 - 2000.
They should be well described and photographs to ensure you
know what your getting. My set was about 1300.

I purchased an entire 5 peice set on egay in like new condition for 1500, even had garment covers for all peices, but i swear that just like Hartman, it is lacking in quality and deseign. I think I could design better items, and in fact made some modification to keep my garmet bag shut when folded. Can you belive they used snaps for that purpose? I took a small buckel for the name tage and had a shoe repair shop move it to the top of the bag so I could buckel it shut. I now stays closed. Over priced, under engineered, but still has the allure because of the F mistique.
