I have an 02 575M F1 in the shop with a blowen Zeon light balast. Ferrari only sells the entire light assembly for almost 4k CND. Has anybody found a replacement that will work the same so I don't have to replace this entire assmenbly and get it color coded to the car? I think this is just plain stupid!.

A ballast I believe is just a power resistor. How about measure resistance of ballast on the good , working side then go to Electronics Parts store or Radio Shack and buy power resistor and replace blown ballast with this. Can you get in to unit to replace? .

To measure resistor probably more accurate to measure inline current and voltage drop across resisitor then use Ohms law R=V drop/current..
