    On Wednesday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City at 7pm, there will be official announcement of Miller Motorsports Park, approximately 30 minutes west of Salt Lake City. Check it out at www.millermotorsportspark.com . It is going to be a state of the art facility from what I've seen. We've needed something like this for quite a while, here in the Salt Lake metropolitan area.

    Yes, this track will be a lot of fun. It will be very nice to have a track of this caliber in the area.

    Currently, there is a dust problem that was discovered after it was paved. Being in the desert, evertime the wind blows the tarmac gets a light coating of dust. I believe barriers are being erected along the outer perimeter to help minimize the problem.

    Also, as it is called a "motorsports park," there are plans to develop a Nascar oval loop and a sunken drag strip. The park is a huge area with plenty of parking and garages.

    I will be very excited to get onto this track someday!

    Yes!!! And they just announced an ALMS race there for next year!!! :)

    I am looking forward to attending the events planned at Miller Motorsports Park as well as hosting a few track days for owners. It is very exciting to have a track of this caliber in our backyard. I think the racing world will be impressed with what Larry Miller and his team have planned.

    Leslie, at PPIR, we should do a survey to see who would go with our little organisation to SLC. It's only 500 miles from Denver and that track will be the best in the West.
