Hi guys, I need some help.

The red light in the oil pressure gauge started to flicker for a fraction of second a number of times at low RPM yesterday. The car was running on a track and engine temp was slightly higher than normal but not too high.

At high RPM, the light did not come on.

I have referred to the user manual but it only suggest to carry out the necessary checks.

Do you know what these checks are?

    Thanks

    Mass.

Oil gets much thinner on a track day hence the pressure light is more likely to come on - it is worth checking there is still enough oil as a lack can increase the likelihood of it coming on - often wet sump cars are overfilled for track days for this reason - not sure if the same logic applies to dry sump - tho I don't know if the 360 is dry sump

360's suffer oil surge and oil over heating when pushed hard.

If your level is below Max, it'll cause momentary spikes of low pressure on long left hand corners, and the temp will also make the oil very thin for idling... use a thicker grade on the track in hot conditions.. 10w 60 racing oil..castrol synthetic is my preferred, but there are others.

360GT cars have a baffled sump and are over filled with oil by about 30mm on the dipstick when hot.
