I have yellow stiching in my car and it is time to condition the leather. Any words on how to condition the leather without making the stiching dirty or discolored from the leather conditioner.

I know the obvious...don't put conditioner on the stiching.

Maybe some of you detail professionals can give me insight?

What conditioner are you using? Lexol's wipe is clear and leaves no color. May want to try it.

djantlive - Lexol condtioner is milky light brown..their cleaner is clear. My assumption is that a light color over yellow stiching will just make it turn dirty color,

Vikenb you have light color stiching and this product doesn't darken it ???

Personally I wouldn't risk it. Spray it on a cloth and control where you wipe.

I, too, have used Hide Food (Care) without any problems.

The fun will come one day when someone has to re-dye the leather!

    Connolly or Spinneybeck leather conditioner/cleaner.

    It's like magic on leather.

My stitching is red and it's fine. But, I've used Hide Care in my other car which has light grey stitching and still no problems with darkening.
