Remember those vents in the back that never get used - Presto! Have ops checked this for the usual convienience store drink glasses on a recent 4 hour trip and it works fabulous! Yet another Mondial advantage over the other lesser Ferraris... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Noted. I have the old TRX's on my My 82 Mondial. When the times comes for replacement, I will probably use those specs. Thanks! Sam
Great idea, Russ. Did you block the air circulation tubes to those two ports? If yes, I would think that your front AC ports are blasting!! Your 3.2 is looking fantastic, as usual. Cheers, Hank
Hope this isn't OT, but it kinda applies... I'm in NY and all cars are required to have a front plate. I just went through every page in this thread and cannot find a single Mondial with a front plate! (euro plates not included) I have an '85 Mondial QV Cab and must <gasp> attach a front plate to the bumber in order to prevent getting pulled over by the local PD. I'm trying to find a good photo to get an idea of proper placement - not too high, not too low, angled up, angled down, straight, centered, offset left, offset right... Any photos of 8's or QV's with a front US plate? Or just tell me to go "dead center" and forget worrying about it. Also, are there any "non-destructive" mounting methods so I don't have to drill the bumper for mounting? Idea's?
Check out this thread for my solution to this problem: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30435&highlight=tow+hook
Here is my 82 Mondial with a front plate. If I had a 3.2 I would probably risk not having a plate. With these big black bumpers, I don't think it really spoils the appearance, and gives me once less thing to worry about. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just noticed how funny it is that a Long Island, NY guy (me) needs a solution for mounting a front license plate and the first two replies I got were from Long Island, NY. Do I see a trend? I have been pulled over once before for no-plate and it seems to me that the local PD just uses it for a reason to see what else they can get on you. I got three tickets that day: No front plate, failure to affix registration documentation to the windshield and no inspection. Hence, my front plate inquiry. Thanks.
