i sent him a message a month or so ago to see if he wanted to really test it out in the NT... no response. what a proving ground
Not necessarily... didn't know it was being done until it was nearly finished. Would more likely hear good things if he'd been doing sub 11's every friday at the Drags... He might just have got sick of all the iditos on here hanging crap on him/the car/the principle....??
your write i am over the **** the tt has had a birthday . It is now well over a year and still nothing has gone wrong mechanically. simon has used some sonoco c16 racing fuel and for the record l stopped the test at 830hp .Only one problem exhaust manifold weld cracked . Reason for doing test ,nothings going wrong so lets start pushing and the car feels easy. So far et best is 10.7 but if we get the time we may take the f355 out again . we have picked up a ford sponsered ute to run in compact racing so that has taken a lot of time .So far the ford turbo6 ute has made on th dyno 940hp with motec and c16.Anyway back to the 355 .The mark we wanted was 800hp and my turbo sucking baby did it easy.Other than that nothing to report from the 355tt.
Good on ya Ton... that's sensational.... 830BHP!!! Insane, totally insane....... Hey, if you're too busy with flippin Fords... loan the 355 to me and I'll get it seen.......
geez, when are we gonna give this a rest.....Phil can't help it if he makes the odd mistake....PP and I have never made one but we can understand you lesser beings making them and for that we forgive you....well maybe not PP
Nice to see you yesterday Ton. Although the way you looked at the F50 engine bay was a worry....... 355 STILL going strong........ Piero says no problems found during the service, other that a little flywheel rattle.... which is a very common 355 fault for any example...never mind one with double it's intended horsepower Hope to see you at the Calder track day, Sunday 25th Sept......
before the car got serviced pat from sales took it for a spin "fastest f---en car l have ever been in." "one frightening fast car" "l drove an enzo last week and this car is so mush quicker" "l thought you were mad to mess with a ferrari but after driving it l would sign up now." these are a few comments pat said after the drive , but the best one was "l can,t believe how responsive the engine and throttle are around corners". The service -nothing wrong. All you non believers can ask piero. phil l will see you on the 25th
what are you talking about kelsa... The 355 Turbo hasn't had any power related problems at all, never mind transaxle. Ton is trying to market this kit, and your mis-information is wrong. You should elaborate your question pehaps, as Ton has assured me of his cars reliability.....
wow kelsa . this is out of left field so help us all out ,what have l done to my "transaxle". l better ask piero because he left the replacment of the transaxle off the bill. Or maybe l,ll not say anything and try and get away with it. if anyone wants to know the history of my 355 just ask piero at ferrari on 0394214676 let me guess .it was red ,a 355 , a spyder and it had 4 wheels. get your FACTS right.
Hopefully just a genuine mistake Ton. best thing is to let the car do the talking in front of all the Fclub at the track day...... Can't wait to see it powering out the final turn with the front wheels damn near off the ground as it passes the pit straight..... Seriously guys, you HAVE to see this thing move. You WILL be amazed.
Not teasing him... he drives it every day. it's you guys that will be teased... you especially PP... his kit will bolt straight on your car, and it would be the ultimate track car...... supremely fast but somehow... disposable..... Not like an F40/50 288 etc, that you just could not give 100%.
