Does anyone know where the day laborers wait for work in the Ft. Lauderdale or Hollywood area? Where is the Labor Pool area?

I know there is a place in Lake Worth and another in Miami where there are hundreds of people waiting to jump into a truck for a day's work. However, I don't know where such a place is in between those two areas.

Be careful with your liabilities. If you get a streetside day laborer and they get injured, you will likely be paying the bills and may get pursued for other monies. I recommend using Labor Finders. They have insured workers and get transportation for the worker so you don't have to. I have paid about $10-$12 / hour and have gotten good results. To answer the question, I have seen some locals who appear to be waiting for work on State Road 84 near Federal Hwy., but that was a few years ago.
