Seattle Spotter's Thread #6

Modena on North Mercer Way at around 9pm last night. Could only make out the silhouette.............oh but what a silhouette!

 

I'm in East Wenatchee

 

Red 328 followed by a red 430 spider. Couple of days ago. It did not look like they were together, just on the same section of road in Bellevue.

BTW, does someone here own the 328 that parks in Union Bank of Cal bldg downtown? It looks great.

Was that you? Do you live here or are you just visiting? Its RARE to see anything italian here, other then a laforza SUV, and Ferraris/Maseratis going along 97A to Chelan. Thou my buddies saw a 550 at wenatchee starbucks a few months back and a yellow 360 ever so often. Actually my friend raced the yellow 360 in his '69 Z-28(427 with 4 spd) across the bridge between wenatchee and east wenatchee a while back, got spanked!!

@ around 4:30 pm a silver Bentley Conti. GT on Mercer St. headed towards I-5

 

I've seen that same Bentley GT on Queen Anne a couple times this week.

 

Black Bentley GT parked on my street this afternoon.

 

@ around 1:45 pm a Fly Yellow Testarossa on Queen Anne Ave.

 

Who got pulled over?

My dad said he saw a "Ferrari" that got pulled over going South on I-5 out of Everett.

And on Sunday he saw 4 of the same type of Ferrari's on Chuckanut drive. He'll send me a picture of what they looked like later.

The owner who got pulled over will remain "nameless" to protect the guilty. They called me shortly after for Muckelstone's contact info.

The Chuckanut group was comprised of several of us, and included a couple CS's, two Gallardos, a 348 spider, 355 spider and 355B. Check the Cavallino thread for pictures.

 

LOL my dad still says there were only 4. but I'll show him some of the Cavallino pics and see if those were what he saw.

Dan, sorry I had to sneak out this evening (got a sneak preview of the Griot's Garage Sale tonight)...but sweet ride!! Guys, CF dash, fire extinguisher, carbon ceramic brakes, etc, etc. Very nicely optioned out, and I love the color! Can wait to go for a ride.

 

S'allright, Dave. Being the one getting a new Ferrari is infinitely less boring than watching someone else get one!

I saw a first-timer today as well--the gent that bought my car. It was kind of infectious to tell the truth. He is really excited and will no doubt be part and parcel to all of our future exploits.

My dad just called and said he saw a black Lamborghini right by Smokey Point. It was going north and he was going south.

 

Today when I was in Bellevue checkin out Park Place and the Jag and Bentley places I saw alot of cool stuff... But not as cool as what I saw later. While looking at the XJ220 a Sales guy came up and asked "what is that?" I simply replyed and said "an XJ220" he said "year?" I said "93" and he asked a few more questions about it and I knew them all...
Then he asked "do you want to see more?" I thought he ment more Xj220s. lol
But then he took us up these stairs and into a huge room and sitting in the room was a red '89 Lamborghini Countach, an Orange BMW M1, a dark blue '64 Vette, some really really old ford and a buick and a couple other things. The Salesman said "He owns about 50 more cars"

Anybody know the name of this guy or a list of his cars?

 

Probably David Bingham, owner of Park Place, Ltd. Might also be the other owner, Butch Bockmeir. David married a very wealthy woman, by the name of Fisher, of Fisher Broadcasting. His car hobby turned into a business, somewhat funded by his household income.
