Can i put 20" wheels on my 612

i am intrested in putting 20" HRE 547r on my new 612, the shop is telling me that a 285/30/20 with a 10.0 - 20 wheel on the front and a 315/35/20 with a 11.0-20 in the rear is the way to go dose anybody have any suggestions or opinions if this is correct, thanks

 

I wouldn't put anything that low provile on my cars. You hit just a small pebble at any kind of speed and it's all over. Looks great, but dangerous as all get out.

 

I have a set of HRE 547r on my 360 ,and i am very happy with them, but it dose make the ride a bit harsh, i just think the factory wheels on the 612 look plain and think the 547 might look good

That sounds reasonable to me for sizing. 30mm and 35mm is not that low profile, especially for Southern Cali. As far as it being ricey, I don't think you can consider HRE ricey at all. Very well made and reputable rim. Best of luck and please let us know how you make out.

 

I am 99% positive that i am going to put the HREs on the 612, the dealer said it will take a few weeks to make them , when i put them on i will post some pictures . thanks
