I have an extra set of wheels for the F40. They are the Speedlines that were on the car before. I am having them stripped and I am either going to leave them raw Magnesium and clear coat them or paint them a different color. Any body have any ideas for colors or finishes?

I'd go with the magnesium/gunmetal finish... Brake dust just seems to blend in. :)

I think you should re-paint the whole car flat black. With black wheels. :)

    I second that.

Unless you want to paint them red & go totally bling! You already got the huge wing & fartcan exhaust. lol :)

    Rick,

A gunmetal finish would look really nice. Black is too stark and red would be hideous! Leave the bling for the Vettes! ;) I love the wheels that are on it right now, btw.

yellow, then put the 'golden arches' on your car. then you can change your plates to 'mc40'. I vote for flat black if there is no other choice, but don't worry if someone else has the exact same deal withthe black rims, it is still hot. never was a fan of the magnesium.

Flat black might be interesting. I thought for sure I would get some really weird photo shops out of this :)
Do you mean yellow like these?

I vote gloss black. Gives it a very agressive look.

I wish that was a decision I had to make :)

I've always liked the flat black or a dark charcoal.

Those are actual rims and photochopped in?
    Wow...
I thought they were pictures reduced in size and photoshopped.

I think you should go with a raw metal spokes and gunmetal dish/edges, they are your EXTRA set of tires.

More than likely he'd put on wheels that look like cheeseburgers. Do they make a In-N-Out "Double Double" wheel option for the F40? ;)

I dig the new style way better than the black. The original look is also way hot but I know you have the larger brakes. I guess clearance must be an issue.
